How to clean cement or concrete
From built-up grease and grime on your driveway to rain or mildew stains in your garage, messes on concrete can be a very visible challenge. You don’t need special cleaners or harsh chemicals to get your cement looking its best.
First, clear out anything blocking your way — the car, your kids’ bikes, the grill — and give the area a quick sweep to remove dry debris and dirt. Then, dilute ¼ cup of your preferred Pine-Sol® Multi-Surface Cleaner for each gallon of warm water you pour into a bucket. Use a hard brush or push broom to give everything a thorough scrubbing with the mixture. Get after particularly persistent stains by using a bit of undiluted Multi-Surface Cleaner, straight from the bottle. Finish by hosing down the concrete or cement, with a pressure washer if you have one. If not, simply rinse the surface with a bucket of clean water and let it dry.*
Consider Pine-Sol® Sparkling Wave® Cleaner on your driveway for an invigorating fresh-from-the-shore feel and smell — for both you and your neighbors.
*If you have colored concrete, test a small spot before proceeding.
