How To Clean Fabric and Clothing Stains
Stubborn grease and dirt stains on your clothes don’t stand a chance because Original Pine-Sol® Multi-Surface Cleaner is great on laundry. It can also help remove strong pet odors and stains and deodorize exercise or work clothes. Don’t forget to use it on stained curtains, table cloths and blankets for a clean fresh smell throughout your home.
If a stain contains solids, gently scrape away the excess layer of residue with a rounded spoon. Then, rub full strength Original Pine-Sol® Cleaner* into the stain, on white or colorfast fabrics. If you’re not sure that your fabric is colorfast, test an inconspicuous area first.
You can even use a sponge or cloth on grease spots or especially heavy dirt marks. Then, wash the garment according to the manufacturer’s instructions on the care label, either in a washing machine or by hand.
For extra cleaning and deodorizing power, add ½ cup of Pine-Sol® to a load of white or colorfast laundry along with your regular detergent. As an added bonus, the inside of your washer will have a wonderfully fresh scent.
*Do not use scented varieties of Pine-Sol® on fabrics, laundry or carpets.
