How to clean the shower

cleaning shower

Soap scum, mildew and mineral deposits can make your shower dull and grimy over time — and water trails can leave glass doors looking streaky and cloudy.

To get your shower sparkling clean, just dilute ⅛ cup of Pine-Sol® Multi-Surface Cleaner in ½ gallon of warm water. For particularly tough stains, use undiluted Pine-Sol® Cleaner instead of the solution. Make sure to remove shampoo and soap from the shower, so you can clear away rings from those containers.

Use a sponge or microfiber cloth to wipe down your shower walls with the mixture. If you have a spray bottle, you can also fill it with the diluted Pine-Sol® Multi-Surface Cleaner and spray down the shower. Don’t forget those shower caddies or baskets too. Be sure to rinse with clean water as soon as you finish scrubbing.

You can clean mineral deposits on some shower heads by dipping an old toothbrush into the mixture and scrubbing it clean. Same goes for that dirty drain: some can be scrubbed with that toothbrush or scrub brush too, after you’ve removed any stray hairs or dirt build-up.*

Try the invigoratingly breezy scent of Pine-Sol® Sparkling Wave® Multi-Surface Cleaner in your shower to get you going in the morning.

*If you are unsure of whether Pine-Sol® Cleaner should be used on a surface, test a small spot before proceeding.
