Step 1

Make your bed when you wake up. It’s a great way to start the day with a healthy clean-as-you-go mindset.

Step 2

Wash any dirty dishes and put stray household items and clothes in their proper place.

Step 3

Wipe down kitchen and bathroom counters with a damp sponge or towel. Use a diluted Pine-Sol solution to remove tough stains.

Step 4

Dust visibly dirty surfaces including furniture, appliances and tabletops.

Step 5

Wipe down high-touch surfaces like light switches, handrails and remote controls with a damp sponge or towel.

Step 6

Sweep visibly dirty or dusty floors.
